When a lifetime of personal property needs to be sold — vehicles, collections, tools, firearms, furniture, and everything in between — we handle the entire process from start to finish. One auction company. One timeline. Everything sold.
Settling an estate is complex enough without trying to figure out how to sell the personal property. We handle the full liquidation — cataloging, marketing, and selling — so you can focus on the legal and family side of things.
Managing trust assets comes with fiduciary responsibility. Our documented process, transparent reporting, and competitive auction format ensure trust property is sold at fair market value with a clear paper trail.
When a parent or loved one is moving to assisted living, a smaller home, or in with family, decades of belongings need to go somewhere. We turn a full estate into an organized auction and put money back in the family's hands.
Firearms, coins, antiques, vehicles, sporting goods — when it's time to sell a lifetime collection, you need an auction team that understands what you have and knows how to reach the right buyers. We do both.
Effective marketing is what separates a good auction from a great one. Our team holds the Auction Marketing Management (AMM) designation and delivers targeted, multi-channel campaigns — segmented by category so the right buyers see your items.
Every auction gets a targeted campaign across Facebook, Instagram, and email — built around the categories in your estate to reach collectors, dealers, and everyday buyers.
Our 8-dimension photo process captures every item with the detail buyers need to bid with confidence. Better photos mean better results.
As a MarkNet Alliance member, your estate is marketed through a network of 140+ auction companies nationwide — putting your items in front of buyers far beyond Montana.
Our buyer database is segmented by interest — firearms, coins, vehicles, antiques, and more. When your estate goes live, the right buyers already know about it.
We manage the entire process from initial consultation to payment — on-site or at our Billings auction facility.
Fill out our form or give us a call. Describe the estate — what's there, where it is, and what the situation looks like. No obligation, no pressure.
We schedule a walkthrough to evaluate the estate, identify high-value items, and build an auction plan — including timeline, logistics, and marketing strategy.
Professional photography, targeted email campaigns, social media promotion, and exposure through our MarkNet Alliance network of 140+ partner auctioneers.
Items go live on our online bidding platform to a qualified, nationwide buyer pool. Our team handles everything from bidding to buyer communication.
Payment is issued within 7–10 days of the auction closing. No waiting, no chasing buyers — we handle collections and settlements.
If you're dealing with an estate and not sure where to start, you're not alone. Here are the questions families and executors ask us most.
Start with one phone call. We'll walk through the property with you — in person or by photos — assess what's there, and build a plan. You don't need to have it figured out before you call us. That's our job. A complete estate auction handles everything from furniture and collectibles to vehicles, tools, and firearms, all in a single coordinated event. One process, one timeline, one company.
No. Leave everything where it is. In fact, sorting through an estate before calling us can accidentally remove value — items that look like junk sometimes aren't. We catalog, photograph, and market every lot. The only thing we ask is that clearly personal documents, medications, and anything with sentimental value to the family be removed before auction day.
For personal property — furniture, vehicles, collectibles, tools, and household contents — plan on 30 to 60 days from contract signing to auction close, depending on the size of the estate. Real estate follows on a separate timeline. We work with your attorney and title company to coordinate everything so the estate can be settled and closed as efficiently as possible.
Unsold items remain the responsibility of the seller — but we don't just walk away. We can help coordinate donation to local organizations for items with value, and for items that aren't worth donating, we're equipped with dump trailers and can arrange haul-off. There is a cost for that service, and we're upfront about it before we start. No surprises.
With a conversation. When an estate includes both real property and personal property, we typically recommend selling the personal property first — it clears the house and allows the real estate to be properly prepared and presented for auction. In some situations, running both together in a coordinated event makes more sense. We'll assess your specific situation and recommend the approach that serves the estate best. National Auction USA handles both sides, so nothing falls through the cracks.
Fill out the form below and we'll be in touch within one business day. No obligation, no pressure — just a conversation about your options.
